In August 2024, the government approved a draft law that simplifies the registration procedure for medicinal products procured by the State Enterprise “Medical Procurements of Ukraine.” This applies to products included in the list of prequalified medicines by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other international organizations. The new procedure allows suppliers to register these medicines within one month, whereas previously the full process took up to 7 months.
